Sunday FUNday!

The day started with a fabulous butt kicking hike up Fryman Canyon with Paria and Lady Grace. After that - a candle lit bubble bath and I sipped champagne while soaking in the tub. Indulgent to the max and I loved every moment of it, but isn't that what Sundays are for?? A day of rest, a day of rejuvenation, a day to get ready for the week. Speaking of the week, time to run a few errands and do a little online shopping.

We really have the best neighbors ever. They just dropped off this lovely bottle of Armenian Brandy. Q and I have already sampled a little and it's delish! Lucky us!

Happy sweet 16th Anniversary!!

It's finally here!! My new wedding ring set, with my grandmother's "North Carolina ruby" right there as the center stone. Breaking my wrist was certainly a low point of this year, but had I known this ring would be the result? Well, I might have smiled my way through the pain because I absolutely LOVE this ring set.  Thank you Q!!!!  (I'll be adding the jewelers info on this post soon)

Glasses? Please no!

I've noticed that it's getting harder and harder to read the fine print on packaging. At first I thought they were using smaller print, never thought I could be having a problem with my 20/20 eyes. Then I put on a pair of my husbands magnifying reading glasses... oh my goodness I could read everything!! Although on some packaging you really don't want to be able to read the small print, but that's besides the point.

So I went out and bought this pair of magnifying glasses for my own. I know, I know... I should get my eyes tested but I'm waiting until my good health insurance kicks in January. Meanwhile, I've got these cute little Foster Grants to wear when I need them.

I use dry shampoo every other day on my hair and I really think it's helped me reduce the stress on my hair that would normally happen if I was blowing my hair out every day. Plus dry shampoo is a major time saver since I'm not spending that 20 minutes blowing my hair out.

Right now my favorite brand is Oscar Blandi, he makes a classic powder and a spray. I prefer to use the powder, I just put the powder in my hands and then run my hands through my hair. Don't squeeze the powder right onto your scalp - I've over applied the product more than once using that method.
